Value Retention Curve
The trendline of a Power generation's Value Retention score over time, from its end-of-marketing date through the maturity of its secondary market.
Where Value Retention is a single snapshot score, the Value Retention Curve is the shape of that score across a generation's post-withdrawal life: a steep early drop as supply widens, then a flattening as the secondary market matures and support-risk-adjusted pricing stabilizes. Understanding where a generation sits on its own curve is more useful than the snapshot alone when timing a used-hardware purchase.
