IBM does not run a secondary market itself. Once a generation is withdrawn from new-unit marketing, resale flows through a small set of specialized dealers -- Alta Technologies, Spectra Logic, Flagship Technologies, and EssentialTech are active participants -- plus general marketplaces like eBay for smaller components and lower-volume listings.
