Remaining Useful Life (RUL)
The years of standard IBM support remaining on a given Power generation, expressed as a share of its typical full lifecycle.
RUL is a 20%-weighted input to the Power Value Index, the single heaviest-weighted factor after Performance. Power8 and Power9 have IBM-published end-of-service dates; Power10 and Power11 do not yet, so their RUL is modeled from the historical ~8-10 year GA-to-EOS pattern and flagged as an estimate.
